The Truett McConnell Lady Bears come into today's match with a record of 4-2 but the AUM Lady Warhawks showed why they were ranked #13 in the nation winning the day by a score of 4-0.  The Lady Bears played hard but were not able to overcome the Warhawks.

During the first half, the Warhawks scored three goals, and the Lady Bears none. The Lady Bears struggled to get the ball down to the field for opportunities to score and were pressed hard on the defensive side.

 At halftime, the Lady Bears regrouped and came back energized for the second half. Chalice Price made an excellent shot attempt within the first two minutes, but it was blocked by the Warhawks goalie. Although they were not able to score, the Lady Bears held the Warhawks at bay, allowing them to score only once more before ending the game 4-0.

 While today was a tough loss for the Bears, now 4-3 the season roles on and they will play again on their home turf Saturday, September 21 against Faulkner University
