The Truett-McConnell College men's team opened up the first round of the Southern Wesleyan Tournament with a solid round 319. They battled the windy and cool conditions and found themselves in sixth place after the halfway point. The Bears stumbled during the second round and compiled a team score of 334 on the final round.  Their two day team total of 653 was good enough to earn them a seventh place finish in the ten team field.

Freshman John Luna led the Bears for the tournament with scores of 78-79-157 which was good enough to earn him a top 20 finish. Luna finished in a tie for 18th for the event. Josh Foster carded 80-80-160 to finish in a tie for 21st.

Holden Shriver 79-88-167, Nick Robertson 82-87-169, Josh Flowers 86-89-175 rounded out the scoring for TMC.

Tournament host Southern Wesleyan won the event with rounds of 288-291-579. Their two day total of 579 earned them the top spot by 27 strokes over Emmanuel College.

This event raps up the fall portion of the schedule for the TMC men's golf team.
