A trip to South Carolina to battle with the Southern Wesleyan Warriors resulted in a dominating victory for the Lady Bears on Thursday night.  In what head coach David McDowell called "an overall solid team performance from back to front" the Lady Bears were able to put the ball in the goal 4 times to the Warriors 0.

The Lady Bears spread there scoring out with 4 different people beating the Warrior defense for a goal with  Chalice Price, Hannah Eison, Joy Smith, and Sarah Murphy all putting one in.  "Our Strikers were finishing excellent off ball movement .  Our midfield worked tirelessly while moving the ball superbly," McDowell said.

This win comes at a good time for the Lady Bears as they are in the thick of their conference season.  "We are clicking at a good time and I believe it has a lot to do with the ladies believing that their hard work, attitudes and commitment would eventually be rewarded" Coach McDowell said.

The Bears will be in action again Wednesday in Cleveland, TN when they take on the Flames of Lee University at 5pm.
